Annie Glasner Faris, age 93, of Winchester, departed this life
on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 at Willows of Winchester Care and
Rehabilitation following an extended illness. Ms. Faris was
employed for many years at Genesco Shoes before her
retirement. She attended Hope Baptist Church in Cowan.
Ms. Faris loved working in her flowers and gardening.
Ms. Faris was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Faris,
Sr. She is survived by her son, Sam Faris, Jr. of Winchester
and sisters; Margie Hopkins of Winchester, Louise Woodard of
Tullahoma, Lorene Wiseman of Winchester and Cora Snell of Nashville
and special friends, Scott (Jessica) Cowan and children of
Winchester.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 from 10:00
A.M. until service time at 12:00 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral
Services with Bro. Marvin Brannan officiating. Interment will
follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Winchester.
