Benson Harrison Williams, Sr., age 63, of Winchester, Tenn. departed this life on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Southern TN Medical Center following an extended illness. He was employed for over 35 years as a carpenter in the commercial construction business. He helped to build many of the hospitals around Palmetto, Florida where he was born.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence Barton Williams and Margee Anderson Williams. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Williams of Winchester, sons; Lawrence “Tay” Williams, Benson Williams, Jr. both of Florida, Shawn and Keith Williams both of Ohio. Step-daughter, Kim Lucey of Bristol, TN. Brother, Kenneth Williams of Florida.

It was Mr. Williams wishes that he be cremated and no services are scheduled.
