Emily A. Snyder, age 88, of Winchester, departed this life on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville following a brief illness. Mrs. Snyder was born in Larksville, PA. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Ms. Snyder was employed for many years at Mattel Toys in California. She had a great sense of humor and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ms. Snyder was preceded in death by her husband, John Snyder and sons; Ronald De Armond, and Fred De Armond. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Eddie) Manges of Winchester. Sons; Michael (Thui) Prayter of Sacramento, CA and Danny (Janet) Snyder of Barstow, CA. Brother, Albert Symons of Bakersfield, CA. 17- Grandchildren and 37-Great-grandchildren and 8-Great-great-grand-children.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6:00 P.M. Friday evening in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with visitation from 5:00-6:00.
