George E. Suttmeier, age 72, of Estill Springs, Tenn. formerly
of Boynton Beach, Fla. and Bay Shore, NY, passed away on Monday,
August, 8, 2011, at the home of his sister. Mr. Suttmeier was
employed as a government bond dealer at Briggs & Schaedle and
Company,44 Wall Street,New York,New York, for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Walter E.
Suttmeier. He is survived by his sister, Beatrice S. (Henry)
Bekman of Estill Springs, brother, Richard H. Suttmeier of Land O'
Lakes, Fla, one niece, Sandra Viau and three nephews; Stephen
Suttmeier, Jason Suttmeier and Timothy Hogan.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of
flowers the family has requested donations to be made to Hospice of
the Highland Rim Foundation, Inc. (Hospice Compassus) 1805 N.
Jackson Street, Tullahoma,TN 37388, attention, Julia.
