James Sherman Cole, age 92, of Cowan, Tenn. passed away
suddenly on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his residence. He
was born in Jamestown,Tenn. Mr. Cole was a disabled veteran
serving his country in WWII. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Mary Louise Cole, and daughter-in-law, Patsy Cole. He
is survived by his sons; Wayne Cole of Antioch,Tenn. Steve (Diana)
Cole of Winchester. Daughters; Marcia Cole and Fay Cronan
both of Cowan, Pat (Dale) Mooney of Sewanee. Grandchildren;
Terri Fox, Todd Mooney, Daryl Cronan, Shelly Sherrill, Jamie Cole,
Randy Cole, Kristy Rutherford, Erik Cole, and Holly Boswell,
17-Great-grandchildren and 1-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation with the family is Monday evening from 5:00-8:00
P.M. Services for Mr. Cole are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday with
Bro. L.Z. Johnson officiating in the chapel of Grant Funeral
Services. Interment will be in Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with
military honors bestowed, and family and friends servingas
pallbearers.
