GRANT FUNERAL SERVICES

Lillie Pearl Harvick Stricklin, age 86, of Tullahoma, formerly of Franklin County, Tenn. departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at her residence following an extended illness.  Ms. Lillie was born in Elrado, Oklahoma.  She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church, Tullahoma, Tenn.  Ms. Lillie was first and foremost a "Preacher's Wife" for almost fifty years.  She was employed for several years at the Duck River Associational office.  She then left and was employed for over twenty years at UTSI as a Government Property Administrator.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Bro. Jake Stricklin, twelve days before her passing.  She is survived by her sons: Walter Claude (Nancy) Stricklin of Hoover, Ala, J.C. Stricklin, and Wendell Mark (Michelle) Stricklin, and daughter, Lowanda Sue Young all of Tullahoma.  Sister, Lucy Crelia of Alteus, Oklahoma, 8-grandchildren and 7-great-grandchildren. 

Visitation for Ms. Lillie is scheduled for 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. David Wall, officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Tullahoma.
