Richard L. Sons, age 66, of Tullahoma, Tenn. formerly of
Winchester departed this life on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Harton
Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma following and extended
illness. Mr. Sons was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is
of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Sons was a nursery laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Sons of Summittville,Tenn.,
Daughters; Sherri (Tracy) Hill of Tullahoma, Susan Sons and
Tonya (Andy) Goodman all of Estill Springs. 5-Step-daughters
and 1-step-son, brother, Kenneth Sons of Nashville and sisters;
Lula Haddon of Manchester, Carolyn Brazil of Tullahoma, Lillie
Perry of Manchester, Alice Moorehead of Fayetteville and his twin
sister, Mary Ann Mitchell of Petersburg, Tenn.
29-grandchildren, 3-great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from11:00 A.M.-1:00
P.M.Tuesday with the service following at 1:00 P.M. with Bro.
Howard Riddle officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood
Cemetery in Tullahoma with military honors bestowed. In lieu
of flowers the family requests donations to be made by contacting
Grant Funeral Services.
