I met Junior 11-12 years ago when I was 12 years old. He was dating my mother at the time, as we all know. She had just gone through some of the hardest times of her life and he was the one person that stood by her side. I got along with Junior instantly. He treated mom well, and he always tried to be kind to me. He taught me to drive, fixed my car more times than I can remember, and despite his being quiet and sometimes abrasive with other people, he was always kind to me. I never wondered why mom loved him. He had a kind heart and even through their ups and downs, he remained the one person who stood by her side no matter what. Because Junior came into my life at such an impressionable age for me, it's no surprise he made a big impact. The fact that he made such a big POSITIVE impact is what is the surprise. He was barely 20 years old after all. My heart aches so much to know he's gone and to know the void he has left in the lives of others.

We are deeply saddened by this loss. We will cherish the memories of the times we spent together. Junior was a very special person, that we will never forget. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7"
