Robert Spencer Dawson, age 86, of Estill Springs, Tenn.passed
away suddenly at his residence on Monday, July 18, 2011. Mr.
Dawson was a retired Auto Mechanic. He was an alderman for
the City of Estill Springs from 1992-1994. He was also a
fireman for the City of Estill Springs in the 1980's and early 90's
and was active in community affairs in the town of Estill
Springs. He was a member of the Estill Springs United
Methodist Church.
Mr. Dawson was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara and
sister, Jean Ervin. He is survived by his sons; Kevin (Deborah)
Dawson, of Tullahoma and Kim Dawson of Manchester.
Grandchildren; Annade Dawson, Ryan (Samantha) Dawson all
of Tullahoma. Kelly (Jennifer) Dawson of Okanawa, Japan,
Richard (Yuki) Dawson of Tullahoma, Robyn (Archie) Custer of
Winchester, Heath Dawson of Fayetteville. Great-grandchildren,
Aurora Dawson, Rin Dawson, Samantha Schock, France Alyscia Buckner,
Nikki Schock, Anna Dawson, Andrew Dawson and Trace Custer
A memorial service is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 26,
2011 at the Estill Springs United Methodist Church with visitation
from 6:00 until service time at 7:00 with Rev. Joe Rutherford and
Rev. Thomas DeRamus officiating.
